Dr. Leonardo Conti (1900-1945) said "no one had the right to regard health as a personal private matter, which could be disposed of according to individualistic preference. Therapy had to be administered in the interests of the race and society rather than of the sick individual"(8 ).

On October of 1939 Victor Brack calculated one in every thousand people would have to be given a `mercy death'. This means that between 65,000 and 70,000 people would have to be executed. Toward the end the program accounted for 70,273 had been killed because they were `unworthy of life' , bogus causes of death were sent to their relatives. During the war another 150,000 `unproductive consumers of food' were sent to their death(11 ).
In Poland one contingent Aktion T4, operated from mobile gas chambers, at least a few had `Kaisers Kaffee Geschaft' printed on them to fool potential victim the worst they would suffer is a bad cup of coffee (12 ).
Since the Nazi began its euthanasia program in 1939 more than 5,000 died, by overdose, starvation and gassing. The dates of the killing of the above mentioned 70,000 was 1940 to 1941. Between 1934 and 1945 400,000 had been surgically Sterilized (13 ).
In the early 1960s Two defendants from the Nazi T4 program captured, but they died before they could be brought to trial Dr.Werner Heyde "hanged himself" in his cell and a second "Friedrich Tillmann" died from a fall from a window. The chief prosecutor Dr. Fritz Bauer said there was a conspiracy to keep the trial from going forward. Prosecutor on the case Karl Zinnal said, "I suspect there are many doctors who are interested that their names and work during the Third Reich do not become public property."(14 ).
