Less than 24 hours after the 9-11-2001, terror attacks on Washington DC and New York a man stormed a Seattle Mosque just a few days later another man tried to set fire to another Seattle Mosque. More Mosque's were attacked as revenge for the 9-11. A mosque in Denton Texas, was firebombed.. Another in Lynnwood Wash., was splattered with black paint. Police in Bridgeview Ill., turned back 300 people as they tried to march on a mosque. A woman and her children suffered more backlash from the 9-11 attack, they were chased from a Walmart by angry shoppers. She was told ``The people who screamed in her face wanted her to go back to her country,'', she was born here (1 ).

An Indian man Balbir Singh Sodhi, 49 was shot and killed, because he was mistaken for a Muslim. His brother Harjit said about the incident, "Some people don't understand because we are different, because we look like (Osama) bin Laden," Harjit said. " But we are not Muslim."The Sodhis, originally from Punjab in India, belong to the Sikh religion(2 ).

Remarks by evanglist Rev. Jerry Falwell caused rioting Hindu-Muslim. Falwell said in 2002 "Jesus set the example for love, as did Moses,". Falwell also said . "I think Muhammad set an opposite example." falwell continued "was a - a violent man, a man of war." a protest over these remarks touched off rioting that killed five people(3 ).

Rev. Jerry Falwell and Pat Robertson claimed America lost Gods protection and this caused the 9-11 (2001). Pat Robertson said, ``God Almighty is lifting his protection from us,'' and `We have imagined ourselves invulnerable and have been consumed by the pursuit of ... health,wealth, material pleasures and sexuality.'' in a four page statement from his Christian Broadcasting Network. Fawell blamed the attacks on pagans, abortionists, feminists, homosexuals, the American Civil Liberties Union and the People for the American Way, and also said ``All of them who have tried to secularize America. I point the finger in their face and say, 'You helped this happen,''' Falwell also said `God continues to lift the curtain and allow the enemies of America to give us probably what we deserve.''(4 ).
