to my cites       back to Freedom of Speech      lack of cause and effect?

Other "threats" against children and culture in general.

Other things can appear to cause aggression or violence. Both can be subjective terms, and it as noted either "aggression" or "violence" may not be bad in and of themselves, and given respective boundaries. The following research is also over simplifying a very complex problem. In my opinion

Can anything be more wholesome than sports? Yet researchers have tied increase aggression with both "supporters and participants" (1 ).

The "sports ideology", has shown among male college students sexist attitudes, and prejudices against both gays and lesbians (2 ).

A researcher said organized athletics glorify violence and aggressive behavior, and he stated "While the newspapers heap acclaim upon the most skillful athletes, the players and coaches often recognize the most violent and brutal players as the real heroes. We reward and condone violence and aggression among youth and when as adults these people behave violently and aggressively, we blame it on man's animalistic nature" (3 ).

Youths who enjoy football (soccer) are more like to be truant, take drugs and steal, according to research at Glasgow Caledonian University in the UK. Also noted Researcher along with anti social behavior "Gender and participation in sports were strong predictors of rule-breaking behaviour. A significant correlation was found between participation in sports and involvement in aggressive behaviour." (4).

Another wholesome past time is religion, its also has cause "ancient hatreds" to turn into violence (5).

Even though no modern religion promotes violence there is a real "incontrovertibly" connection between religion and violence (6 ).

Another section of my pages deal directly with religion and violence. The religious have been targeted by hate crimes and violence, many times its at the hands of another religion

Should we ban any all sources of aggression in an attempt to quell violence. What of the overwhelming majority of partakers of the fore mentioned past times who suffer no ill effects from their past times? Should we listen to the neo messiahs who offer extremely simplified answers to complex questions?

Answers don't come as easy as claimed. Their can be multiple causes of delinquency, and violence so for treatments to work they must be holistic, and comprehensive(7 ).
