Dearest Boma Bear(Obama)
Congratulations you done it, realistically some alive today seen drastic changes, within 100 years:
Whites used to portrayed blacks on the silver screen, granted some films at the time presented genuine blacks, the practice of black face was accepted.
Interracial marriage wasn't accepted, and in fact outlawed in some states.
In the 1950s, the arm forces became integrated, the schools soon followed.
In the 1970s the last person born into American slavery died.

Things have changed, all of it not for the better. The economy has tanked, we are in two wars that seem to be without end. At home battle lines are drawn, and the opposing sides are increasing hostile.

You have your race counting on you, the human race.

For race (human) and country (the people) we are concerned about the following.

You aren't the Beatles. They got by and high with some help from their friends. Some of your acquaintances have us concerned.

We are concerned about Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now (ACORN). Though you can't be tied directly to this group, we are concerned Anytime any elected official is tied (no matter how loosely) to a group that has alleged accounts of election fraud such as falsely registered people to vote (1).

Also your ties when Jim Johnson concern us. Mr Johnson received below Market interest rates from Countrywide Financial while he was the CEO of Fannie Mae. Mr Johnson did not disclosing them to the Fannie Mae board is troubling (2).

Also a no good-nik called Tony Rezko, a real estate developer who was convicted of trying to get 7 million in kick backs out of government contractors is troubling (3 ). He had helped you in your past to raise funds for campaigns, maybe not this one but still. Make his sort part of your long past (4 ).

We are glad you admit "It was a mistake to have been engaged with him at all in this or any other personal business dealing that would allow him, or anyone else, to believe that he had done me a favor," and "For that reason, I consider this a mistake on my part and I regret it." ( 5 ).

The whole matter is upsetting to all of us.

Even though you said you supported, "a robust system of public financing of elections" But turned down public financing seem a bit like you've gone back on your word (6 ).

We sort of agree with Wisconsin Sen. Russ Feingold when he said, "This is not a good decision. While the current public financing system for the presidential primaries is broken, the system for the general election is not. The entire system must be updated." (7 ).

Also we are distressed at apparent breaking of a campaign promise over windfall profits tax on the oil and gas industry. You had mentioned doing this, now it appears this is your first broken promise. (8 ).
